Our Story

How it all started...


Our journey as a congregation began in May, 1977 under the leadership of Pastor James Coleman, who had a passion to teach God's word and equip the body Christ for the work of ministry. He founded what was formerly known as "Fellowship Church of God", a community church in NE Portland. Pastor Coleman, who was the father-in-law of Steven Holt, retired from the pastorate in 1995 and appointed Steven Holt as lead pastor.  Ever since, Steven and Aundria Holt have been faithfully serving as the lead pastors of Kingdom Nation Church formerly known as "Fellowship Church" and  "The International Fellowship Family."


Expanding the vision...

As an Apostleship Training Center, our goal is the equip God's people for the work of ministry from a "heaven down" perspective.  This means we are centering God and his agenda and de-centering humanity and humanity's agenda. Through the teaching of sound scriptural doctrine, we are preparing a people who fully understand and embrace "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven!"

Where we are headed...

As an Apostleship Training Center, we are charged to prepare, equip, and guide Christ’s future generations. Therefore, we look forward to the establishment of “Kingdom Academy”, an academic arm of Kingdom Nation that educates children and youth from a biblical foundation.
